Fittings measurements and how to measure
Choosing the correct fitting starts with identifying the connection type and checking its dimensions. If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering.
What to check
- The connection type at each end: RJT, DIN, Tri-Clamp, BSP, SMS or hosetail.
- Whether each threaded connection is male or female.
- The tube outside diameter, relevant connection dimensions and required overall length, in millimetres.
- For adaptors, the size and connection type of both ends.
Use callipers where possible and send clear photos showing the fitting, its mating connection and your measurements if you need help.
