About us

Milky Fittings & Fab is a small business based in Darlington, specialising in stainless steel fittings, pipework and bespoke fabrication for breweries, dairies and other process applications. What began as a hobby has grown into a business built on practical experience, attention to detail and a love of making things.

Our story

Founded in the summer of 2019 by Jakub and Rafał, two beer enthusiasts with a passion for welding and fabrication, Milky Fittings began with a request from a local brewery to modify its beer tanks.

That first project led to more work as other breweries heard about us. We continued building the business alongside our full-time jobs, including through the challenges of the Covid pandemic. Step by step, our range of products and services grew.

The story behind the name

The name Milky Fittings was inspired by Jakub and Marta’s beloved dog, Milka. It gave the business a personal connection and happened to fit naturally with our work in the dairy industry. As dairy farmers began getting in touch, the name became part of a business serving both brewing and dairy customers.

What we do today

We have supplied fittings and equipment to customers across the UK and abroad, helping with everything from individual adaptors to custom pipework and fabrication projects.

Our range includes RJT, DIN, Tri-Clamp, BSP and hosetail adaptors, butterfly valves, elbows, tees, pipe spools and racking guns. We also make bespoke items for customers who need a particular combination of connections, dimensions or design.

We enjoy working with customers to solve practical problems, whether that means adapting existing equipment or making something new. Every job receives the same care and attention to the details that matter.
